Food Network Wine & Food Festival Coming To Miami Soon!



It's that time of year that makes all food aficionados and wine connoisseurs smile.  That's right, the 2012 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival is coming to South Beach. This event is known for bringing everyone’s favorite celebrity chefs, culinary personalities, winemakers, and spirit producers together for the ultimate gourmet beach bash. Starting February 23th you can experience food, fun, & festivities (oh my)!
The festival is three days long and is packed full of events, brunches, parties, and seminars that are not only for adults, the little ones are welcome as well. Florida Blue and Carnival present "Fun and Fit as a Family," which will be held at Jungle Island. This family-friendly event at the Festival lets parents and kids learn the basics of healthy eating up close with Food Network celebrity chefs Rachael Ray, Guy Fieri and many more. 
Hotel Victor, The Gansevoort, and Bank of America (just to name a few) will be hosting phenomenal dinners, wine tastings, and various lifestyle seminars on all three days. If you are unable to attend everything, don’t fret… waiting around aimlessly for the next event to begin doesn't exist. From 11:00 am - 6:00 pm festival goers have the opportunity to attend culinary demonstrations by their favorite TV chefs. There will also be American Express Grand Tasting Tentsfrom 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm. A seemingly never-ending array of wines and spirits from some of the world’s finest producers will offer the perfect accompaniment to the unusual appetizers, signature dishes, and delightful desserts presented by some of South Florida’s greatest restaurants. With generous samples of everything a foodie could ever ask for, the afternoon provides a unique opportunity to try the widest possible range of flavors representing innovations in wine and spirits making, new culinary trends, and exciting twists on global food traditions. In between those exhilarating sips and bites, people can ask questions of the informative pourers and servers, all of whom will provide information to help heighten your appreciation and deepen your knowledge of whatever it is that may be making your taste buds smile.

So you've looked on the website and you're not able to attend everything? Not to worry, potential festival goers are welcome to purchase whatever package suits them. The "Party Animal Pass" is for the person that comes alive at night. The Q After Dark, Party: Impossible featuring Gourmet Market hosted by Robert Irvine and The Best Thing I Ever Ate Late Night Bites all start at 10 p.m. The Wine Lover's Weekend Pass is good for two wine seminars. If you wish to stroll along the beach savoring wine and watching your favorite chef bring delectable recipes to life, the Grand Tasting Weekend Pass is your best bet. If you’re only available on Sunday, get the Sunday Funday Pass. This pass grants access to the Whole Foods Grand Tasting Village and Trucks on the Beach, which is the festival’s official closing party.
